The Vai Moana Hotel has been in Hanga Roa since 1994, surrounded by gardens featuring native island flora, stone sculptures, and Rapa Nui murals. Strolling through its gardens, listening to the island’s language, sitting down to breakfast while taking in the greenery: there’s something about this place that helps you slow down from the very first moment and connects you with the living culture of Rapa Nui.
From here, we organize excursions to the main archaeological sites of Rapa Nui, with guides who know the island firsthand. For first-time visitors, this is the most relaxed way to understand everything you’re seeing.
Breakfast is served at your table each morning as a plated meal featuring fresh ingredients. It is not a buffet.
The hotel day starts from hour 13:00 and ends at 10:00.
